How does the Daily Challenge work?
Every day there are 10 questions, the same for everyone. When you finish, you can share a result grid of emoji without spoiling the answers. A new challenge arrives each day. If you quit partway, you can resume where you left off.
How do streaks work?
Your streak counts consecutive days you complete the Daily Challenge. Miss a day and it starts over. Your streak is stored on your device.
How do I turn the daily reminder on or off?
The reminder is optional and off by default. Change it in the app's settings. If your phone is blocking it, also check Hoshira's notification permission in your device settings.
How do I change the language?
Hoshira supports English and Spanish. Change the language in the app's settings.
How do I reset my progress?
Use the reset option in the app's settings. This clears your streaks and Atlas collection on this device and cannot be undone. Deleting the app also removes the data.
Will I lose my progress if I change phones?
Progress is stored only on your device and there is no account, so it does not move to a new phone automatically.
Where does the data come from?
Facts and measurements come from NASA, ESA, JPL and the NASA Exoplanet Archive. Each reveal shows its source. Spotted something wrong? Tell us and we will check it.
